Although Lu Jueyu had been talking about her machines, Pan Meijia's words gave her an idea. Since they needed a cover story for using her machine, why not build a large heater outside the house?

This way, they could have extra stoves and a logical explanation for how they kept the greenhouse warm. The machine could then be used to lowered the temperature during summer, allowing them to plant winter crops.
