After Li Chenmo delivered the food to the Chen family's house, he went home to pack his wife and his luggage after dinner. Since they couldn't use his wife's space in public, they ended up packing two large bags and one small bag.

They only brought three sets of clothes and the rest was half a month's worth of food. Although they have a lot of money and they can buy ingredients in the capital, the price is too expensive. 

As for eating in state-owned restaurants, Li Chenmo thinks it is unhygienic, expensive, and not as delicious as his wife's cooking. So, he decided to bring some food. If that wasn't enough, they could use the food as cover to take more from his wife's space.

By the time they finished packing, it was already ten o'clock in the evening. In the bedroom, Lu Jueyu held her husband's hand and took the two of them into space.
