Just when Chen Jianguo finished washing half of the clothes, Chen Jianyan came over and said, "Second brother, let me help you."

Hearing this, Chen Jianguo nodded and said, "Thank you, Xiao Yan."

Chen Jianmin glanced at them and went to the woodshed to get a bamboo basket, shovel, and a hoe. Before leaving, he said, "Xiao Guo, Xiao Yan, Brother will go to the mountain to pick some mushrooms and see if we can eat meat tonight."

When Chen Jianyan heard this, her eyes lit up. She wanted to ask her brother to bring her some wild berries. But thinking about what just happened, she bit her lip and lowered her head.

Seeing her like this, Chen Jianmin sighed inwardly. His sister is still too young.

"Xiao Yan, Brother will check if there are any wild berries and bring some back to you. So, go do your homework and study well," he said with a smile.
