Bab 885: Promise

After hearing what his mother said, Chen Jianmin looked at his mother and said, "Mother, I want to go to Doctor Xie's house."

"Are you feeling uncomfortable? Also, why did you bring so many things to see Doctor Xie?" Wu Yahui asked.

"Doctor Xie's granddaughter is my deskmate. She has helped me before. So, I'm going to give her something," Chen Jianmin explained.

Without waiting for his mother to speak, he added, "Mother, I'm going to Ah Li's house after I visit my deskmate. I will be back later, don't wait for me to eat."

Knowing that his son always had his own plans, Wu Yahui just nodded and said, "Okay, be careful on the road."

After leaving the house, Chen Jianmin walked quickly to Doctor Xie's house. Grilled fish won't taste as good if it's cooled so he wants to deliver it before it gets cooled. 

When he arrived at Doctor Xie's house, he saw Li Shu washing clothes by the well. He smiled and called her, "Shushu!"
