Father Xiao opened the letter, read it for a while, and put it in his pocket. Then he wrote down a few names and made a phone call.

Not long after, his personal assistant walked into the office, saluted him, and asked, "Commander, what are your orders?"

Father Xiao handed him the list and said, "Send it to General Xie personally."

The assistant took the file, nodded, and left the office. 

When Father Xiao was alone, he thought of Houzi's request. He was supposed to have three more years until retirement. But thinking about the dangers he faced and the many tasks he had completed, Father Xiao felt that there was no problem in letting him retire early.

With this thought in mind, he wrote a letter to Houzi. Although the content is just the father's words of concern for his adopted son, after Houzi reads it, he will understand that his request has been met.
