Bab 474: Check-up

While Old Mo was thinking about how much gold he must dig out later, Wang Muxiao and Lu Cheng just arrived at the county town, riding the bullock cart. 

When the bullock cart stopped, Lu Cheng helped his wife down and said, "Wife, be careful, watch your steps."

After the two alighted from the cart, Lu Cheng handed two meat buns wrapped in oil paper to Zhang Ermu and said, "Brother Zhang, thank you for sending us here. You might have not yet eaten breakfast. My wife made this, please have a try."

Zhang Ermu took the meat buns and said, "Brother Cheng, I will return to the village in three hours. If you want to go back with me, let's meet here later."

After hearing his words, Lu Cheng was grateful and readily agreed. His wife is pregnant and it is inconvenient to walk long distances.

"Then I'll trouble Brother Zhang." Lu Cheng said with a smile.
