Bab 469: Thief ( 2 )

Hearing Lu Jueyu's shout, Chen Lina raised her head and glared at Lu Jueyu, "Lu Jueyu, stop talking nonsense! Who do you call a thief?"

Before Lu Jueyu had time to answer, they heard footsteps coming from outside. Seeing that Aunt Li and her son were coming, Chen Lina panicked, while Lu Jueyu hurried to open the door.

After opening the door, she quickly walked to Chen Lina and sat on the ground. She tousled her hair, grabbed a handful of dirt and smeared it on her clothes before she held Chen Lina's hands.

Not long after, the door was pushed open and followed by Aunt Li's voice, "Jueyu, where is the thief?!"

At first, Chen Lina didn't know why Lu Jueyu messed up her hair and soiled her clothes. But when she saw her mother-in-law looking at them with wide eyes, full of disbelief and shock, she finally understood that Lu Jueyu was framing her while pretending to be the victim to gain sympathy.
