By the time Sam arrived at the hospital, Casiano's surgery had already been underway for several hours. Don, who had been waiting in the shadows, briefed Sam on the situation before quickly returning to the cabin to deal with Julio Reed and the thugs who had harmed Mr. Davies.

Sam took Don's place outside the operating room, anxiously pacing as he called Eric. Eric, who was in Finland preparing a proposal scene, dropped the bouquet he was holding when he received the call. Maggie, initially thinking Eric was slacking off, was about to scold him when she noticed his pale face.

"What's happened?" Maggie asked, putting down the flower wreath and standing up straight.

Eric grabbed Maggie's hand, urgency in his voice: "Casiano's been seriously injured, we can't have the proposal, we need to go back home!"
