As Alla rose to her feet, a cool breeze rustled her short hair, disorderly strands obscuring her vision. Casiano reached out to smooth her hair back, then picked up his suit jacket and draped it over her.

He then took hold of her hand once again, leading her down the stairs. "Alla, there's an opera performance. Would you…" He trailed off as he glanced down at Alla, noticing her gaze fixed on the distant Capitol building.

Giving a subtle nod to his bodyguard, the man understood and promptly headed in the direction of the White House. "Alla, let's go to the Capitol building."
