"What Alla? I'm Audrey! Don't use the lame excuse of mistaking me for someone else to absolve yourself of your wrongdoings!" After pushing away his hand, Alla took a step back, clutching her phone, crossing her arms, and staring at him with her chin raised defiantly. 

Her demeanor was far more challenging and haughty than the gentle and obedient Alla of the past. However, the face etched in his marrow was identical, save for the mature and bold makeup. Casiano's handsome face was full of disbelief; she was unmistakably his Alla. 

He raised his hand, intending to touch her face. But she tilted her head back to avoid his touch. "Sir, if you keep this up, I'm going to call for help!" Casiano lowered his head slightly, looking at her with reddened eyes. "Are you mad at me?" His voice was full of helplessness and seemed to carry an unspoken sorrow.
