Bab 89: Have I ever intended to harm her?

Sam cast a glance at the determined Casiano, discerning the depth of his obsession from the expression his eyes betrayed. Initially, he had contemplated persuading Casiano to relinquish Ms. Barton to Keyon, but upon witnessing his current state, Sam prudently held his tongue. 

Casiano, it seemed, could not release his hold on Ms. Barton; thus, his contest with Keyon. However, the executive had not displayed this sentiment, and Sam, in turn, did not feel it was his place to expose it. He respectfully acknowledged with a 'yes' and proceeded to devise a strategy to contain any news. Despite the villa being populated with the boss's confidants, he had to ensure the news would not reach the lady of the house. Sam felt that at such a time, his duty was to eliminate any obstacles for his boss, rather than encouraging him to let go of Ms. Barton.
