Somehow he agrees with him as well. He also needs time to think. All three choices from the goddess have their pros and cons and he doesn't know what to choose.

"Are you alright? Are you in pain?" Hoven asked worriedly when Chris suddenly cried without answering his question.

Chris wiped his tears and said, "I'm fine."

"Then why are you crying?"

"It's my wolf, he told me to choose the goddess' third option."

Hoven and Elandir glanced at each other with meaningful looks. Chris hasn't told them what are his choices and his tears just made them more curious about it.
