Harry walked beside the large shelves filled with books as he searched for the books he needed. It took him a few minutes but he stopped in front of the bookshelf that read (Magical Beasts).
'B… B…. there it is. Basilisk. I wonder why those two were talking about it so secretly. The other book should be about Slytherins and the last one must be Her something the Foul. Maybe Hercules the foul. If only I sat a bit closer to those two…'
He searched more and picked up a few more books until they reached his neck when he carried them in front of him. He placed them all on a table and began reading.
Hours passed and he left the library like he was enlightened. He ran to the hospital wards so he could talk to Ron while a quiet kid stood up from a chair that was a few meters away from Harry's and walked out.
He walked to one of the lavatories and disappeared.

Harry walked into the room and saw Ron looking around, panic written on his face.
"Hey, what happened?"
"I lost the book. I put it in the drawer before I went to sleep but when I woke up and checked, it was gone. Did you take it?"
"No. It's you and Ginny who mostly have the diary so maybe ask her?"
"Alright. I actually got discharged a few minutes ago so let's go.", Ron said as he picked up a few of his things.
The two of them first headed to their dormitory to leave all their items before they looked for Ginny. They skipped the common room as they already looked for her while they were on their way to their dormitory.
They left no place alone as they searched the great hall, the corridors, and all of the open classrooms before heading back to their common room dejected.
"Where is she….", Ron muttered, a feeling of dread creeping up to his heart.
"Is that… Ginny?"
The moment Ron heard his friend say that, he looked forward and squinted his eyes to see a short girl around the height of his sister walking towards him.
Only when they got a little closer, was he able to confirm that the girl was actually his sister.
"Hey Ginny, where in the world were you?"
She looked up at him and paused for a second before giving him an answer.
"I was in the toilets. Is there something wrong?"
"Yes. I lost the diary. Did you take it with you by chance?"
She shook her head and shrugged, "No I didn't. It's fine if it is gone, isn't it? We never know who it belonged to so maybe that person found us and took the book when no one noticed."
"You're saying, he didn't want us to know who he is?"
She nodded and walked past them, "Yes, that's a possibility."
The two of them sighed and walked to their common room while Ginny smiled behind them, her pupils turning red slits as she walked away from Myrtle's bathroom.
'Now… it's time for the final step. I wonder how long it will take for them to notice a missing girl.'

Alex looked up at the boy who slowly turned into an elf.
"Master, the potter boy has learned about the big snake. Is there anything else you want me to do?"
"Mhmm.", Alex gave a curt nod before speaking, "Buy a few roosters and wait for me to call you. When I do, I want you to apparate to my location with a few roosters and that's enough. I will tell you if there are things to be changed."
"Understood, Master."
Alex sighed after Toffy apparated away.
'Things are going a bit too fast right now and I don't think it will be a good idea to delay or stop it right now.'

McGonagall looked at all the professors sitting at the table with a very sorrowful expression.
"The heir of Slytherin has caught one of our students and it seems like simply preventing them from going near the lavatory isn't going to be safe either. I suggest informing all the students to pack their things and get ready to go back home.
First, it was Filch and his cat, then the headmaster, then it was Ron and then we had to find Hagrid mixed up in this too. Luckily he wasn't affected too much like the others but he still is unable to walk right.
We can pass all the students this year or make them write their exams at home but keeping them here for now is not safe."
The table was silent for a while as everyone looked gloomy. It was Flitwick who spoke first.
"Since you called us to this meeting, it must mean that the student taken by the heir is Gryffindor, or maybe the Heir is Gryffindor, right?"
"That is a possibility, yes. But that doesn't mean we know who it is and we also don't have the means to get them to confess without the use of force. The headmaster wouldn't want that."
Hooch nodded, "Yes, it will not be an ethical move to question the kids. Anyway, could you tell us who the missing person is?"
"It's Ginny. I do not know what to tell their parents yet. I'm sure that her brothers have already sent the news."
Snape tapped the table rhythmically as he closed his eyes, "Doesn't make sense. How did you find out that she was taken by the Heir? The possibility of her being the heir is also quite high if she is missing at this moment."
Shaking her head, McGonagall replied, "One of the walls in the Gryffindor common room had a message written on it. A sixth year notified me early morning and I had to clean it up myself so the kids didn't get scared."
Silence fell again as the professors looked at each other's faces, not saying a single thing.
Suddenly, the door to the room opened and the blond-haired, always-grinning handsome man walked in with an apologetic smile on his face.
"Haha, I am really sorry for being a little late. Got caught up with some students on the way here."
