Ron then continued after seeing that Harry understood, "The game will not start unless there are at least two wands on board. Also, never take off your wand from the board as it will lead to a loss. Currently, there aren't too many things we can do but the creator of this game promised to add more things in the future."
Harry nodded and placed his wand on the elevated border after he tapped the wooden cuboid while Ron did the same. When both the wands were on the board, the cuboids transformed into the miniature versions of Harry and Ron.
They felt like there was a connection between them and their wooden avatars.
"What next?" asked Harry.
"Just think of what to do and your clone will do it. See the thin line on both the sides of this board? These show the state of our avatars.
As they receive damage, this line slowly turns black from the right side and you lose when the whole line gets black." Ron explained as he made his wooden clone run around the board.
"Understood…" Harry said as he made his avatar punch Ron's which was in punching range. A part of the white line turned black making Ron exclaim.
"Hey! That's cheating!"
His avatar jumped on Harry's and soon, it turned into a dog fight.
The piece of wood would repair itself automatically if broken and it seemed like there was no need to take a rest when playing. The two of them played in the common room as it was Sunday and soon, most of the Gryffindors gathered around the two, asking for try it out.
The Gryffindor common room was a mess for a few hours and the pressure on Ron and Harry seemed to lessen when the twins brought more boards with them.
The effect of the game was the same in all the houses except Ravenclaw where they already had about six boards sitting on random tables in their common room, all of them completely occupied.
Alex and Aman were in their dormitory while their other three roommates were busy fighting it out in the common room.
Alex did everything alone while Aman just observed from the side. He had no interest in the process and just wanted to see the finished product as he was already impressed with the current version.
It would be Halloween in just two weeks and Alex wanted to finish the updates as soon as possible. The new board he planned to make was extremely complex as it was product that he considered to be premium quality and it had a lot of functions included.
The largest version of the board was a circle with a diameter of three metres and allowed eight players to duel at the same time. It had a total of five different versions that it could transform into.
Two player version being the smallest and the eight being the largest. It also had three, four and five player version where the size of the board progressively changed.
Although, for six and seven player situations, the board would transform into its largest form as Alex was too lazy to make it more complicated for himself.
The wooden puppets could now use the magic that the user knew and there were also a few sneaky things that Alex added to the puppets and the board. Alex finished working on the board and sighed as he stretched. He saw that the sun was setting from the window and Aman was in fast asleep.
He then pressed his thumb on the board for a few seconds before it started folding up and finally stopped when it took the shape of a large cube. He then used the shrinking charm and the weightlessness charm before placing it in his pocket and walked out of the dormitory.
On his way to the great hall, he took out a small iron pyramid and tapped it thrice with his wand as he continued walking. Meanwhile, in the common rooms of all the houses, the boards stopped working and a message appeared on top of them.
The people who had their game interrupted and the ones spectating stared at the message dumbfounded for a second before they began reading it.

Everyone who had the board, hurried to the great hall with their friends tagging along. When they entered, they saw that there was nothing special going on. Everything seemed to be normal like always.
They saw the students of other houses holding the boards and grouped together even if they didn't like some of them.
It only took them a minute for the arguments and fights to erupt. Harry, Ron, Malfoy and his two friends seemed to be ready to go at each other. The fight began because of Neville's Remembrall.
