Bab 121: Fishing for the betrayer

Luciana went to the laboratory after putting Lorenzo on Raziel's watch. Apart from her, he was he only one he seemed to listen to. But it was a lot of work for him, compared to her. She was still a bit glad as he seemed to be showing some signs of his old self since the night they had that talk. It was a mental struggle for him, but she believed that he would pull through.

She got to the laboratory, her guards with her.

"Do you still enjoy working here like you used to?" Arlo asked her. "I guess that the treatment would be different from before. Does it make you uncomfortable?"

She smiled. He was thoughtful. "It does. That is the one downside of being Queen. At least I don't come here as much as before."

"One would think you came here to work." Sofia chimed in, and Luciana gave her a knowing look.
