Bab 76: The witch

The duke looked surprise at how she yelled back at him, and it only got him angrier. Perhaps the young king had thought her how to be arrogant.

"You dare talk back at me?"

She stood up before he was able to get to her, and she dodged his next hit.

"I am not going to marry the man you had set up for me father." She stubbornly insisted. She then walked to the door.

"If you move an inch, I will disown you." He threatened.

"That would be a breath of fresh air."

But before she could open the door, he rushed at her from behind, continuously hitting her on her face. Dahlia crouched down to protect her face from his blows.

At that moment, the door opened and Luciana barged in with Luke, Arlo and Sofia behind her.

"Take him away." She ordered angrily, and they went to grab the duke.

"You dare not touch me." He warned, but the guards paid no attention to his words, and they grabbed him.
