Bab 94: Good Mood

As Elena stepped into her apartment, the tantalizing aroma of Yuchen's cooking enveloped the air. For a few weeks, it wouldn't have affected her much. Yet, this time, it managed to coax a genuine smile to her lips—the kind of smile that had graced her face at the beginning of their marriage.

"Something smells good," Elena remarked as she walked towards the kitchen.

"Welcome home!" Yuchen greeted, his face lit up with a beaming smile as he looked at Elena. 

Yuchen's expression looked brighter than usual. It was obvious that he was in a good mood.

"Dinner will be ready shortly. Why don't you go take a shower?" Yuchen suggested, his eyes lingering on Elena. Then, with a mischievous glint, he added, "Or... you could wait a little, and we can shower together."

Elena snorted in response. Her cheeks flush slightly. Is Yuchen not tired at all?

"Nice try. But I'll take a shower in my room," she replied before swiftly retreating from the kitchen.
