Bab 52: In critical condition

Because of the lack of light illuminating the hall, Arianne wasn't able to see clearly the guests below, however, she was able to hear the familiar voice in the crowd. Her heart skipped a beat and the face of the silver haired man who she had spent a night with and proposed her marriage appeared in her mind. 

Her feet rooted to the spot, unable to find strength to take another step. Her guilt was hammering down, she owed Magnus a lot in the previous life and that always prevented her from fighting back. Guilt is really poisonous. 

Magnus pursed his lips and took large strides towards her. Dante's angry shout had gone with the wind, Magnus was only interested in finishing the ceremony tonight, professing his love for her in front of everyone. Anything else was just trivial.

Finally, his lifelong wish...

"Don't be nervous." He gently held her hand and led her to the stairways. Voice filled with gentleness with the intent to pacify streamed to her ears.
