I must have lost consciousness after the second orgasm because when I came to, I was tucked into clean bedding with the gun replaced under my pillow. Killian had also cleaned the dishes and left a new passcode for my security system.

I rushed to check the CCTV and found the system had frozen for three hours. Linus Bai was something else. Ashamed, I showered and left for work just as the sun's rays hit the windows of my bedroom.

I arrived at the agency and found that Arran was already in my office.

“Do you sleep?” I asked him.

“You are early.” He evaded my question.

“I need coffee,” I murmured.

He stood up and left my office as I switched on my computer and caught up on the latest email. An email from Zelda on the press release between the Agency and the CIA about the drones popped up.

After reading it for a few minutes, I scoffed at how she had made Killian sound like a God. Arran walked in with a cup of coffee and placed it on my desk.
