Chapter 31: Eisenwald Arc (6)
~Third POV~
Through the speakers as the group rushed towards the commotion as Lucy carries Natsu as he was knocked out by the car ride here listening as they rush through Oshibana Station quickly getting into the scene.,
"An army platoon went in, but it hasn't returned."
"What about the Eisenwald terrorist?!!"
"They haven't come out either!!!"
"They may be fighting inside!!"
As the group continues forward Lucy eyes widen seeing the unconscious form of the Rune Knights as Happy quipped at the obvious, "They've been wiped out!!!"
Some of the Rune Knights groan in pain on the ground as Erza points out the obvious to the group, "They were fighting an entire guild. In other words, all the enemies are wizards. A platoon of soldiers can't take that on."
Agreeing they immediately rushed ahead greeting them stairs to the platform ahead, "Let's hurry!! The platform is this way!"
Following suit they reached the platform as the rest of the Eisenwald Guild members are all present including their strongest member Erigor.
Erigor is an extremely tall, lean-built and yet mildly muscular man with silver hair, which is held pointing upwards in spiky strands on top of his head but hangs down to the left of his face in a distinctive tuft, sometimes partially covering it, and reaching down to his shoulders.
Erigor expresses a frown followed by a tone of disgust towards the Fairy Tail members viewing their symbol on them, "Tch. To think Kageyama would fail at the hands of these Fairy Tail flies. We expected a group of wizards to come. Hand over Lullaby or else we start clipping your wings."
Erza quickly brandishes her swords out with the intent of taking on Erigor herself as she gaves a direct command to her allies, "You want it? Then come take it Erigor! All of you deal with the guild members leave Erigor to me!"
*Shiii*
Switching out taking Ricochet, and Rune Sword out at the ready with him keeping his distance using Mastema for flying combat long range support as Silva prepared himself while having Spectator reading their thoughts.

Each group are prepared as Erza flew off with Erigor following behind signaling the start of the fight with Lucy seeing all of them are readying could only sigh with Happy being next beside her taking out one of her Golden Keys, "Sigh… at least though the sooner this ends the sooner we can help Erza. Now Open Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!"
*Ding*

Seeing everyone already preparing to fight Silva had his Rune Sword and Ricochet at the ready as they all began charge forward as he started the first attack, "Guess it's time we kick this party off with style. <Mana Burst>."

Releasing a quick motion of movement and force behind his feather strikes of <Mana Burst> propelling each of them at the Eisenwald Guild members with the Fairy Tail members soon made quick work with all the members as Erza managed to deal with Erigor alone taking their fight to the outside.

Avoiding another one of Erigor Wind Magic blades and his scythe I remained focused on my task dealing with the man responsible for his attempted plans to kill the Guild Masters at their meeting in Clover Town.
To be honest at first, I didn't think much of it at the time if I had noticed Kageyama sooner I could've prevented this from happening.
It was thanks to my allies that we managed to nip Lullaby before the Eisenwald Guild could make use of it thanks to Silva attempt stopping him alone while taking care of Natsu as he was useless with the train moving.
Really that boy need to overcome his motion sickness and not drop the ball. Fortunately, I have heard about Silva Eye Magic detecting people or beings from the rumors Macao spoke about around the guild.
And to add more to that fact aware of their alliances to guilds it seems as he captured Kageyama easily with his guard down thinking he didn't know. Quite the handy spell to have just by looking at a person to get information.
His help managed to stop the demon from ever coming to the Guild Master meeting and acted with us getting out of our shock and ordered.
How foolish to wait for the enemy to transform?
Along with his forethought knowledge and my excellent explanation we managed to get rid of their purpose for the flute but if anything, they were pretty thorough about their plans even getting rid of other magic wheelers in Oshibana Town as insurance.
I underestimated their tenacity and planning of their goals.
We were fortunate that we managed to get vital information of their goals thanks to Silva Judgement Field forcing Kageyama to confess the truth himself once under the bubble field that the Magic Tool produces.
I'll be frank I didn't expect he would have one in his possession but luckily, he does makes, getting the truth a lot easier than carving up his face.
To be frank I thought I would have to start cutting off limbs if he didn't start talking. That usually shuts up the strong silent Dark Guild member types I deal with to start speaking like canaries.
*Woosh*
Avoiding another one of Erigor wind slash at me having myself prepared a counterattack of my own, Moonslice!
*Shing*
"AH!"
Managing to get near the Erigor managing to cut through his flesh as he backed off with his shoulder bleeding heavily by the cut produced as I rushed forward at him with the intent to end this fight.
Although as I did so was when Erigor began to cross his arms together gloating with self-glee in arrogance, "Damn it! You are strong Titania but none have survived past my trump card! <Storm Mail>!"
*WOOOSH*
*WOOSH*
Proving his point my eyes widen slightly seeing many air currents to gather around him, creating a hurricane surrounding his entire body. While clad in this armor, Erigor's destructive power and defense must be boosted by his spell.
I can see why it's his trump card, but I remained determined to end this fight to the bitter end.
If not at least the rest of the Fairy Tail members will pick up where I left off against him in a wounded state.
*BOOOM*
Suddenly an explosion could be heard from where the previous Guild mates are located sensing Natsu and Gray's magic easily defeated the members along with Lucy and Silva dealing with the grunts.
Erigor on the other hand also sensed the situation not ending in his favor as he grips his scythe trying to flee from the scene, "Tch. There's no use continuing this farce any longer if killing the Guild Masters without Lullaby is impossible. Mark my words Fairy I'll be coming after you one by one."
Gritting my teeth on the ground as he floats above trying to make his escape the best I could do now was hold my ground if he does anything seeing that he won't be able to cause the ruckus he wants with his guild being taken care of.

"Ack!!"
However, what happened next was when Erigor was suddenly attacked by multiple number of feathers piercing through his trump card briefly ending his <Storm Mail> with great force. Enough so that he lost control over his spell noticing the piercing wounds on his body.
I didn't let this chance escape me.
Erigor face pales seeing his prideful Trump Card got weakened leaving me in my momentum of striking the end of his reign over his plan of eliminating our Guild Master, "This is the end Erigor! MOONSLICE!!"
*SHING*
"ACK!!!"
Coughing up blood as my blades struck him down Erigor in his panic state as he grits his teeth bearing his fangs as the wind continues to pick up around him, "You fuckers! You'll all die one day by hands!! The Death God will get you flies someday –"
*WOOOSH*
*THUD*
Before he could fly away any further a sudden swift surge of Magic Power strike appeared with the bloodied Erigor lumping down unprotected on time as I see Silva making the attack from above in the air but I can see his hand shaking with the smoldering smoke of his attack clear from his hand with his armor wings giving him flight.
He must have probably assume he took his life like that with his Magic Spell. I then detected the same change that happened again when we defeated Lullaby again.
*Shiii*
I knew I wasn't imagining it.
I thought earlier that the massive magic power spike was actually from Silva himself with his magic getting stronger. Although I could be mistaken as everyone can power up for defense against dangerous foes.
Perhaps I'm over thinking things, but it looks like his trembling a bit – oh… It seems like this is his first time taking a life it seems to me as he looked panic but conflicted about his kill.
In our line of work things like these happen especially with Dark Guild extermination request if the Magic Council wanted them captured to be tried but there have been cases where you are given the ok to kill against truly dangerous characters.
I'm no saint either when I take those jobs. I prefer to capture them alive if I can, but I also know where to put my foot down to end them after all it's my life I'm putting on the line on the job but also a family waiting for me.
I'll always choose that than offer my life to some stranger with loved one's waiting for me.
Gazing over to the captured Eisenwald members they all looked down defeated as ignored them going over to Silva trying to remain calm as I ask directly, "This is your first time taking a life before Silva?"
He looked surprised at how direct I was about taking a life as if surprised by it even. I guess he thought I was going to scold him about it but why bother the truth in our line of work when it's a fact.
I could only place my hand over his shoulder speaking from experience to him about taking a life to ease his confliction, "I know that all life is sacred and your still technically young in being a Wizard in a guild starting out. But there will be times like these you have to face these kinds of situations. That is the reality we live in."
At this he looked down at Erigor before finally replying something to me that I found a bit childish but confused as well, "Yeah… I just thought. I don't know? I thought I would see this differently from how other mages portrayed their adventures in guilds. Maybe I just saw it through colorful tinted views that I didn't consider the reality of the situation I'm in when it actually happens."
I chuckled lightly at that. I once thought like that once upon a time with Rob telling me stories about things like that.
They were to help me through some dark times in my past but that's not here nor now to explain.
Instead, I tried to encourage my fellow Fairy Tail member with confidence as we float back down to ground level speaking some words of wisdom, "Perhaps. But don't let this dissuade you though as you could have those adventures in the future someday. Just know this is from personal experience that things like this happens on jobs. You are still new to the guild from what I hear. Let this experience help you grow more as a Mage in the future."

It seems like he took my words as he seems to calm down more confident as he began to go towards the Rune Knights requesting witness reports about the event and the property damages done…

I tilt my head towards Natsu talking with Lucy about something and Gray meeting up with the few of the Rune Knights giving his report. Although Lucy does have a kind heart that despite her prior quest with Silva was technically over, she still decided to come and help.
I could feel pride from them that these kinds of people are joining our guild along with their kindhearted heart as well. Shame that a select few in our guild and annoyance named Laxus can't express those kinds of emotions.
Regardless though this seems to be their starting point I just wonder how they'll grow.
Although…
Turning towards the Oshibana Station with the whole building crumbling down turning into rubble I wonder if the Magic Council will still blame us for this…
The master is going to scold us for this I just know it…
