Bab 444: The World Beyond
Wu Long chuckled, happy to see both Lian Zhiqiu and Hua Ziyan benefited from his enlightenment even if not to the extent he did, and excited for the glimpse of the secrets of the Dao Rune he managed to peek at.
"What... what was that sound?"
Hua Ziyan carefully asked and he shook his head.
"I don't know. I never heard something like that either. I had sudden enlightenments before, and saw people in that condition, but never like that"
He was quite surprised as well, as he could hear that chanting as well, or, more exactly, that chanting was in a way the source of his enlightenment as most of the new comprehensions he had came from listening to it.
The only time he could hear the chanting that was similar was when Nie Changsheng's Soul Sea shattered and he could see the Dao Runes within. But both the runes and chanting strangely gave him a different feeling.

Of course there is more to explore and show but I believe this much is enough for this one chap. XD
As you may have noticed, the lore and world is quite extensive, and if you are thinking it is too large to explore in one novel you are right, I will very likely be returning to the universe of this novel in future works, showing more of it's different parts. XD
So there is no need to worry that the novel is going to drift too heavily from the main plot to show the world, as there will be opportunities to do that in other works.
My apologies for only one chapter yesterday and the late update today, I ran into some problems (the dentist kind) and it is a bit hard to write. I still hope to release one more chap today but we'll see. XD
In a day or two I might be in too much pain to write at all after treatment, but I will try my best. XD
