Bab 116: Revelation
"When can I go home?" Marin asked cutely turning her head up to look at me.
'Never.' The word almost slipped out before I stopped myself.
"Soon." I told her, 'Yeah, as soon as the 21st century ends,'
Yeah, she still didn't know she was kidnapped. And I didn't have the intention to tell her so soon.
We were both sitting on the couch of the living room, cuddling together as a documentary played on the TV. She was sitting between my legs with her back leaning on my chest.
I was currently drying her head with a towel as we had just gotten out of the bath. Marin had done me a few favors during the shower and now I was repaying the favor by spoiling her like this.
I would've used a hair dryer if not for the fact that Marin did not want it as she said it could cause hair damage and spoil her hair colouring. I was not sure if that was true or if it was just a lie she told me to lengthen my time spent spoiling her. Anyway, I loved her too much to find out.
Marin pouted while I continued rubbing her hair with the dry towel. Her pout became more and more intense every second I did not react to it.
Eventually, she puffed out her cheeks so comically big that I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"What's up with you?" I asked and rubbed her cheek which was all red because of being puffed too much.
"It's YOU!!" Marin said accusingly, "How soon is soon?"
"Very soon." I answered simply.
"Like tomorrow 'soon'? Another week 'soon'? Or is it a month 'soon'? Which 'soon' is it?!"
"I don't know. Which 'soon' would you like it to be?" I asked back and Marin opened her mouth but words stuck in her throat so she closed again without saying anything.
She stopped looking at me and just stared at the TV for a few moments before she inclined her head again to look at me.
"You have no intention of letting me go home do you?"
"Nope."
"You can't do that."
"Who's gonna stop me?"
"This is kidnapping."
"Oh you just realized?" I quipped and Marin stayed silent.
I sighed and hung the towel in my hand at the back of the couch before wrapping my arms around her toned stomach and hugging her.
She melts into my embrace.
"I don't want you to go home to that empty house every day. Just thinking about it pisses me off. We are together now, and you shouldn't feel lonely."
I finished that by kissing her forehead. Marin was just a shell at that moment as she froze completely, eyes hollow and mind beyond reality.
Then a massive blush crashed on her face as her small hands came up to hide her reddening face.
"If you say something like that..." She whispered.
"What?" I asked and I got my answer as her hand pulled down my head. Our face was parallel to each other as our lips met.
Her lower lips touch my upper lips and her upper lips touch my lower ones.
It was brief as Marin quickly pulled back and stood up before I could catch her.
"F-Fine then. If you insist." She said while walking away from the living room and entering the bathroom.
My super-human ears caught her screaming with glee the moment she closed the door. Just Marin being Marin.
She often does that when I do something that touches her heart. She was embarrassed to look too smitten in front of me so she would excuse herself to freak out.
After a few minutes, I heard the sound of the toilet even though she was not using it, she liked to pretend. She came out, done with her episode.
"Fine, I will live with you." Marin said as she settled herself on the couch, but this time she was facing me.
It was rare for couples to live together in Japan, especially couples as young as us. But it was not that unheard of either.
I already told Sumrie how I wanted Marin to live with us and she was cool with the idea as well. Almost excited if I had to comment.
"But I want to return for now." She said and before I could ask why, she continued.
"My father will be coming home as he also had a holiday and I want to be home with him. It's been 2 days since we finished the exam and he will be home the day after tomorrow." She said.
Cool enough I guess.
"So, I will come back after his vacation finishes and he has to leave for work again." She said and I extended my bare legs and let my feet rub against hers.
She soon reciprocated my action and her feet rubbed against mine as well. Her toes showed great dexterity as she played with my toes.
Her feet were soft and she had cute individual toes.
We then continued talking about the topic as we played with our feet. She asked if my mother was fine with it and if she had to pay rent or some kind.
Of course, I reassured her that my mother allowed it and no, I was not going to collect rent from my own girlfriend.

[Evening : Dinner]
All of us were seated at the dining table. Marin sat beside me while Sumrie sat opposite us with Kurumi.
The wolf girl was getting more and more spoiled and was now eating with us at the table. We allowed so since there was plenty of room and she was extremely tidy when she ate.
it was almost alarming how elegant she would eat her sausages even though she was supposed to be a wild animal. At one point we just chalked it up to Kurumi being the best pet in the world
On the table were different kinds of dishes enough to feed twice our number. From miso soup, curry, and salad, it was all there.
And the most important part of the meal, the white rice was beside Marin. She would be the one scooping the rice for everyone.
A meal without rice was not a meal for Asians, even if you ate a LOT. It was snacks without rice. And that was true for this household as well, even Kurumi, a wolf liked rice.
We had our meal while we had a pleasant conversation about the topic of the Royal family in Japan. Apparently, the princess was in love with a commoner and wanted to marry, it was still not official though.
And as were eating happily, I finally decided that it was time to reveal the big thing.
"Sumi-Mom. Marin." I said and they immediately listened as my voice held a bit of seriousness.
"I'll be leaving the country to participate in an MMA tournament."

I looked at the closed-eyed smile of Sumire which was also mirrored by Marin. And Kurumi who looked like she was having a panic attack.
'Oops?'
