Bab 314: Emoticon and Emojis

Bei Sangyun watched the door close. Lin Fei had left, but the bitter aftertaste of seeing him again lingered.

"'Let's not meet again'... that's what you said, right?" she muttered.

There was no point in repeating the past. She did not want to see his ending.

Bei Sangyun pushed down the melancholy in her heart. She was about to go upstairs when her eyes caught something on the table. She looked back and saw a box of fried chicken—something that could be bought from a fast food chain—sitting there.

That wasn't there earlier. Butler Xin must have put it there when he and Lin Fei came to the lounge.

The members of the Lin family were brought up with excellent food and a well-balanced diet. This fried chicken, full of MSG*, was like toxic junk food in their eyes.

No one would eat it here except Lin Fei... and her.

Bei Sangyun chuckled out of respite.

Lin Fei was still the same.
