Bab 81: Videos in School's Forum

The room fell into a heavy silence.

Li Mei couldn't help but suppress a smirk internally.

This rude brat had dared to act boldly in front of the prideful and unpredictable old man? Bei Sangyun might have thought she was being clever, but her actions were more likely to enrage the old man further.

Li Mei wasn't the only one who thought this way. Everyone shared the same sentiment.  They were collectively holding their breath, bracing for the inevitable eruption of the old man's anger.

However, contrary to their expectation, the old man did not act the way they expected. 

With a hint of curiosity, Old Master Lin addressed Bei Sangyun.

"Are you saying that everything your cousin said is not true? There are witnesses who testify against you."

"Witnesses can be bought." Bei Sangyun retorted.
