"What do you mean the camera was off at that time? Are you guys even doing your job?" Bei Sangyun expressed her frustration in the security office.
"The camera in that area malfunctioned, but we've already replaced it with a new one to prevent such issues in the future," one of the security staff explained.
Bei Sangyun's gaze narrowed suspiciously. The timing seemed too coincidental.
"Who was in charge of monitoring at that time?" she inquired.
A nervous young man in his late twenties raised his hand. "Ms. Lin, the camera was working perfectly fine before I went to the restroom, but when I returned, I found it had malfunctioned. It was completely out of my control."
Bei Sangyun continued to scrutinize the security team, trying to discern if they were lying or not. They seemed genuinely concerned about their malfunctioning camera and did not seem to be lying.
"Did anyone other than the security staff enter this area during that time?"
