As the will of the Dragon God descended upon the area, all the true dragons present ceased their activities.
Reverent gazes converged on Lockweed, the ancient gold dragon, the vessel through which the Dragon God's will manifested.
Though not many gathered dragons were followers of the Dragon God, with only a few possessing a belief in deities, all true dragons, believer or not, held intrinsic respect and admiration for a god of their own kind.
In just a moment, Lockweed exuded an extraordinary aura characteristic of deities.
The Metal Dragon God favored gold dragons as vessels for his will.
Simultaneously,
"Great Platinum Dragon God, we welcome your presence."
The true dragons expressed their reverence to the Metal Dragon God.
The avatar of the Metal Dragon God's will made no extraneous movements.
He gently turned his neck, his gaze subtly resting on Garon for an instant. Even a god's gentle look felt palpable, so Garon sensed it even in that brief moment.
At this time, Una had left the interior of the magic ship.
She was invisible, hiding behind Garon.
Then, the avatar of the Metal Dragon God's will raised its claw, with divine power swirling around it.
The claw, covered in golden scales and imbued with a holy aura, gently tapped.
Hum, hum, hum.
At that moment, space rippled gently like water.
Without much ado, under the expectant gazes of the true dragons, several planar portals silently opened.
The Metal Dragon God opened not just one, but several portals.
Looking around, hundreds of portals opened almost simultaneously, each at a distance from where the true dragons gathered.
Planet Kala was vast.
Once the dragons from Noah Continent reached Planet Kala, they would no longer cluster together.
To clear the planet of aberrant monsters, they needed to split up.
"Opening hundreds of planar portals at once, and they allow mass transportation."
Garon marveled at the power displayed by the Dragon God.
Such large-scale transportation without magic ships was something he could not currently accomplish.
After the portals opened, the Metal Dragon God's will did not linger.
The god arrived quickly and departed just as swiftly, without a word.
The ancient gold dragon's body quivered lightly.
As the Metal Dragon God's will departed, Lockweed's expression returned to normal, losing the special aura of a deity.
"Fellow kin, the great Metal Dragon God has opened portals to Planet Kala for us."
"These portals lead to different regions on Planet Kala."
"If you wish to travel in groups, you may enter Planet Kala through the same portal."
Lockweed naturally understood some things about the planar portals when the will of the Metal Dragon God descended upon him. So, after the god's will left, he explained to the true dragons present.
"As for territorial issues, Planet Kala is currently unclaimed."
"The areas you clear will become your new territories on Planet Kala."
This straightforward method of territorial allocation essentially boiled down to survival of the fittest.
Lockweed continued, "The planar portals won't last long. Decide quickly if you want to go to Planet Kala."
Each planar portal stood towering in space, a hundred meters in size, allowing easy passage for true dragons and their vassals.
After speaking, Lockweed, leading some metal dragons, was the first to enter the nearest portal, followed closely by their vassal clans, continuously streaming into the portal.
"Garon, shall we go together?"
Luna, in her human form, turned to Garon.
Elsewhere, centered around Nehemiah, a group of metal dragons gathered, waiting for Luna.
Unlike other dragon species, Garon noticed the metal dragons were led by a legendary giant dragon, who took some less powerful metal dragons through certain portals. Although not all metal dragons used the same portal, this allowed them to support each other.
"No, I have many vassals and prefer to act alone."
Garon slightly shook his head, declining Luna's offer.
With his strength, he did not need to form alliances. Accompanying other metal dragons would essentially mean looking out for them.
After hearing Garon's response, Luna nodded lightly without further persuasion.
"Good luck."
She smiled gently and then leaped up.
Transforming back into her dragon form amidst a silver glow, Luna flew towards where Nehemiah, the ancient silver dragon, was, under Garon's watch.
Garon withdrew his gaze.
He looked at a planar portal near him.
Due to Garon's numerous vassals, this portal was almost encircled by his forces, distanced from other dragons' territories.
"My loyal vassals, follow me."
Garon looked around and commanded in a deep voice.
His vassal clans responded with low roars.
The silver giant dragon flapped its wings, creating a gust of wind as it vanished from its spot. Traversing a silver arc in the air, it passed through the planar portal, leaving the Noah Continent.
A second later, the sound of turbulent air currents followed.
After Garon crossed the portal, his vassals moved simultaneously.
Magic ships descended to the ground, moving towards the portal, while the vassals from the northern ice plains strode forward, led by the Wolfheart Clan, forming an unending stream entering the portal.
Passing through the portal, Garon's view abruptly changed.
Under a dark night sky, countless trees of varying heights stretched endlessly.
However, these trees were not ordinary in color.
They were almost entirely black.
Black trunks, black branches, black leaves.
At first glance, the area seemed like a black ocean. Under the moonlight, the twisted treetops cast eerie shadows on the ground, appearing somewhat ghastly.
Whoosh!
A warm breeze blew.
The dense black leaves and branches swayed with the wind, like a surge of black waves. Eerily, there was no sound, and the black forest rolled silently in the night wind.
Flapping its wings, the silver giant dragon ascended into the sky.
Garon gazed into the distance and found himself in a vast black forest with no visible end.
The trees elsewhere were as lush as those beneath him.
The air was moist with water vapor.
In a short time, droplets formed on Garon's scales.
"It feels like a tropical rainforest, with the highest proportion of water elements in the air."
The environment gave Garon this impression.
Amid rustling sounds, Garon's vassal clans came through the portal, arriving one after another in the black forest, with several magic ships hovering quietly above.
Garon's eyes narrowed slightly.
In his vision, the area was filled with colors representing different elemental energies, the aura of elements.
Elemental energy on Planet Kala was denser than on the Noah Continent in Garon's view.
Nearly twice as dense as on the Noah Continent.
"With such a concentration of elemental energy, it's easier to create powerful beings."
Before being corrupted by the Primordial Sun God, Planet Kala was definitely a stronger material world than the Noah Continent, both in terms of area and the overall strength of its creatures.
Garon carefully observed the environment.
Just arriving on Planet Kala, the silent black forest was already out of the ordinary.
Here, Garon sensed the deathly cold air of the Primordial Sun God.
His memories of the god's power were profoundly vivid.
"The air here smells terrible."
Una, flying close to Garon, whispered with a disgusted expression.
"Listen closely, it's too quiet here."
Garon's gaze sharpened as he looked down at the black forest.
There was no sound of living creatures. Apart from the oddly shaped black ancient trees, it seemed there was no other life, hinting at the sinister influence of the Primordial Sun God that had long corrupted Planet Kala.
Simultaneously,
Among the vassals who had just entered the black forest,
Several weak gnolls curiously observed the strange surroundings.
Behind them, several black branches silently descended, not stirring a sound, like flexible snakes quietly coiling around the gnolls' necks.
Boom!
Dragon might, like a tsunami, erupted, sweeping in all directions.
"Destroy these trees!"
Garon bellowed.
He saw the movement of the black trees clearly from the sky. These were also targets corrupted by the Primordial Sun God.
"Even plants can be corrupted into aberrant monsters. This planet seems to have been under the influence of the Primordial Sun God for quite some time."
Realizing this, Garon thought to himself.
He was unlucky, seemingly falling right into a nest of aberrant monsters.
Or perhaps, aberrant monsters were ubiquitous on this planet.
Garon's vassals reacted swiftly.
Upon receiving his command, fierce gazes immediately fell on every black tree in the forest.
Ogres raised their war hammers, violently smashing the nearest black trees.
With immense force, trees thick enough for several men to embrace were broken in half. As the trunks shattered, piercing, shrill howls erupted.
Instantly, the previously silent forest came alive.
Boom, boom, boom.
Soil and rocks churned, the ground cracked, and thick vines, like pythons, sprang from the ground, coiling towards Garon's vassals. The black trunks split open, revealing interlacing wooden fangs.
The vines pulled Garon's vassals towards the gaping maws on the trees.
Just minutes after arriving on Planet Kala, a fierce battle with aberrant monsters began without any preparation.
The aberrant black trees weren't particularly strong, being easily overpowered by most of Garon's vassals. However, their sheer number was daunting, covering every inch of space, endlessly regenerating as they were torn apart.
"Clearing aberrant monsters seems not to be a simple task."
Garon didn't act immediately.
Gazing into the distance,
His view was filled with an endless black forest.
His tens of thousands of vassals were barely making ripples in such a vast forest.
However, Garon's vassals were not ordinary beings.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
Streaks of fire shot from the magic ships, plummeting rapidly and landing in the black forest.
Then, the night sky erupted with raging flames.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Attacks from fire elemental beings easily overpowered the aberrant black trees.
As they joined the fray, countless aberrant black trees caught fire within moments, turning into bright torches.
The endless black forest was now dotted with patches of fiery red.
The destructive power of the fire elementals was strong, which was why Garon brought them along.
"The quantity is large, but their resistance isn't much stronger than ordinary trees."
In a forest, once a sea of fire forms, it naturally spreads and grows. The sea of fire ignited by the fire elementals burned fiercely, illuminating the area with bright flames.
Seeing this, the fire mages of the Alpha Tribe couldn't contain themselves.
Playing with fire was their forte.
With the great Eternal Dragon nearby, they couldn't let the fire elementals steal all the limelight.
Accompanied by low, obscure chants, the air's fire elemental energy converged intensively.
Then, fire spells were unleashed from the hands of the Alpha fire mages.
Fire rain fell from the sky, flames blossomed on the ground, and fiery glows ignited in the air. In an instant, the fire voraciously devoured everything around in a domineering manner.
"It seems we don't need to take action."
Una murmured softly.
For such fragile aberrant beings, she was reluctant to waste her energy on them.
"Let the vassals have their freedom to fight. They crave battle."
Garon nodded slightly.
The scope of the black forest was immense, but the fire spread quickly. Clearing the forest with fire was just a matter of time.
He and Una hovered in the sky, quietly enjoying the feast of flames.
The number of aberrant monsters on Planet Kala was probably unimaginably vast, with many possessing legendary strength. This forest of aberrant black trees was just the beginning.
