"Did you see?"

"Duke Idir must be furious!"

"He is young and daring, but this was too much!"

"Does it mean Luan Einar is joining the royalist side?"

The council gathering just ended and the nobles have another topic to gossip about. 

Luan left the room, not interested in any talks. He finished his work for the day and rushed home for dinner.

"Wait, Luan!" The crown prince caught up with him in the hallway. "Why are you so eager to leave the palace every time?"

"It's late already. Arianell must be hungry…"

If she already finished the volunteering job she promised that rotten priest who only pretended to be good.

"Hah, can I come for dinner, too?" Asher asked.

The blue knight halted his step and looked at the prince with dangerous eyes.

"Uhm, I was kidding… kidding… I'm not going, I know…"

Only then did Luan continue his walk.
