Bab 135: Reunion (1)

"Commander, please wait!"

Vincent ran through the palace hall in a great hurry. Before he understood that the meeting had ended, Luan was already long away. 

Gant patted him on the back in comfort when he finally caught up to them.

"Why are you in such a hurry? And why was His Majesty in such a hurry to let us go?" Everything today went unlike he predicted.

The celebration on the street was supposed to be welcoming, but the amount of flowers thrown at them hurt, especially when they hit their faces. The knights purposely took off the armour and dressed in their official uniform, only to be met with an unexpected attack.

Then the meeting with the king. Not only did the army of advisors look upon them harshly, but the crown prince also had a weird smug face on the whole time like they were the actors in theatre there to amuse him.
