Bab 117: The Demonic Beast (1)

Arianell was checking the tonic when she saw the shadow in the sky. It looked like an oversized bird at first but as it was getting closer, she noticed a creature similar to wyvern. It was dark-skinned and much bonier than the one described in fantasy books, but it was without a doubt dangerous.

The angry roar spread through the air like a pressure wave.

"Vincent, dodge!" 

She grabbed the shocked man by the collar and pushed him to the side, while the winged beast landed not far from them and crashed part of the wagon.

"How is that possible!" The vice-commander screamed. Wyvern was one of the most ferocious forces on the battlefield, that could easily destroy the building made from bricks. The regular knight can't face one alone.

The beast seemed to be disoriented, and a chain hung around its neck showing them that he had broken through enslavement just a while ago. It was highly irritated and attacked everything on the side.
