Arianell enjoyed a calm morning in her backyard. It was a few days already, since the Makaris left for the south, leaving her with a lot of free time at hand. Jaya was protesting till the last moment, begging her to leave with them. Only when Lester pointed out her unsightly snot, did she stop whimpering and finally left with her people.

"But what if something happens when we are going to be separated? Some thieves can break into the house at night and kidnap you away…" Jaya was going through some crises, as she thought of all unfortunate scenarios.

"Look at her ugly crying face… It's clear that she just doesn't want to leave…" Lester grumped, trying to stop her from jumping at Arianell.

"Let me go, old man! Who told you to get on my way?!"

"Hey! Your snot! Disgusting! How can you use my shirt, instead of tissue?!"

Thinking back at their everyday happy banter, the tranquillity right now was like a blessing.
