Bab 141: The Ayla’s Former Life

Elias and Kale dusted themselves off after the friendly spar in the garden of Ayla's Mansion. While Kale remained slightly sulky about the loss, I couldn't help but chuckle and try to lessen his frustration.

"Don't worry, Kale. Your brother is just too strong. He even beat me," I said with a smile, patting him on the back. He frowned but nodded in acknowledgment, his competitive spirit still burning bright.

"C'mon, now, go get well rested, another day awaits for tomorrow. You have a lot more partners you can practice with."

In that instant, Kale's eyes brightened and quickly, he creased his brows to hide his happiness, "Well… I'd be grateful for any kind of help."
