Bab 120: Someone Else?

"Huh?" As I returned to my own body, the world around me was a chaotic blur. 

My senses were overwhelmed by the sight of Elias and Smool, both attacking me with intense ferocity. Their blades clashed with my dagger, creating sparks that illuminated the forest we stood in.

I blocked their strikes, confused and disoriented.

"Just what is—" My sentence was caught in half as Elias's black-purple katana whipped through the air towards me, using my dagger while twisting my wrist, I guided the blade away from me.

Shit, I'm in a disadvantage based on reach— I jumped back as I realized, "—!?" As soon as the soles of my shoes touched the ground, a blue-white ripple flashed on my right, making me alert as I expected a blow to my ribs.

"Here!" Smool whispered as he appeared out of no where, but my heightened vision allowed me to predict his movement after carefully taking in the information around me in the world.
