Stomping onto the ground, he launched himself towards Sarah, completely ignoring Adam and Olivia. The murderous intent around him suddenly erupted, reaching a terrifying level.

Olivia immediately noticed this. Although she did not understand what it was that Sarah was doing, but, she knew that whatever Sarah was doing was something that had already attracted the attention of Smith.

And before this, Sarah had already asked her to protect her. That implied that, currently, Sarah was not paying much attention to what was going on in her surroundings.

Olivia was not ready to let her only friend perish right now. So, the moment that Smith began charging towards Sarah, she acted immediately. Additionally, it was not as if she was that far away from Sarah considering that she was attacking from a distance.
