Bab 44: High Troll (2)

Summoning his determination, Jayce dashed forward, his eyes locking onto the monster's thick, gnarled legs. His agility surged as he approached, avoiding debris and rubble as he closed the distance. With a burst of speed, he leaped onto the High Troll's leg, his knife gleaming as he aimed for the tendons that supported the behemoth's movements.

His blade sliced through the tough hide with a satisfying resistance, the High Troll bellowing in pain as its leg faltered. Jayce's heart raced as he scrambled to find a foothold, his knife becoming a tool of precision in a battle of giants.

His gambit seemed to pay off, as the High Troll's leg buckled beneath its weight, sending the beast crashing to its knees. The ground shook with the impact, and the party seized the opportunity to renew their assault.
