Zehar, his memory returning, slapped my hand away and retreated a few steps, his anger palpable. However, before any further violence could erupt, the ear-piercing alarm sounded, signaling lunch break.
My boys jumped in surprised and all ran to my side, in a ready fight stance.
"What the fuck!" Eman screamed through the loud alarm. "Get ready for battle, men!"
A wry smile played on my lips as I slapped Eman on the back of his head, offering a dismissive response, "It's lunch break, you idiot."
The relief washed over my men as they exchanged glances and erupted into hearty laughter, momentarily releasing the tension in the room.
Zehar clicked his tongue and spoke, "Let's go. We've got unfinished business in the cafeteria," before making his way toward the exit door of our cell block, his boys trailing behind him.
Thank you all for this recent massive support, it means a lot!
