Bab 217: Dragon Bloodline Awakening

The dragons were a proud and powerful race, so much so that they prevented intermarriage with any other races other than their own. They had a very strict law against it, and a silly excuse such as love would not be tolerated. Anyone who broke this law would be punished by death.

Unfortunately, when the Ice dragon clan leader, Mellin, witnessed that her daughter had broken their sacred law and had a child with a human, she couldn't bring herself to actually do it. Instead, she banished and disowned her, stating she was never to set foot in Alucadia, no matter what situation she found herself in.
