As they gathered in their base, Rain contemplated the next steps, knowing that their journey was far from over and more challenges awaited them in the realm of the unknown.

"I think that we can use the undead king to turn the cores into very cooperative friends," Rain said. "If they are influenced for a while by the power of his sloth, they will reveal everything they know."

"Can't we use the power of sloth ourselves?" Jori asked.

"I can, but I am starting to feel the influence of the sins. I lost my mind a couple of times during the battle, and it would be bad if all of us were to do the same," Rain explained. "The virtue paths can ease the effects of the sins, but they become quite powerful when they level up several times in a row, and that is enough to affect us all for a fair bit."
