As he approached the group of Beasts, his eyes locked on the Python, a smug smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. He had been waiting for this moment. And whatever this Mechanism had in store for them, Mida was ready to face it head-on… 

And he was going to start with the Python that was practically avoiding him this whole time.

Midas moved through the dense air of the Mechanism, his senses heightened, his footsteps steady. Just as he approached, he saw the Python that was in a heated conversation, stiffen a bit, its long serpentine body coiling as if preparing for a confrontation.

Can you relax? This is your Clan Leader coming to say Hi to you, dummy!

The Python's eyes narrowed a bit, into calculating slits that locked onto Midas, a mixture of disbelief and irritation swirling within them. Midas inwardly shook his head. If you act like that, then everyone is going to notice that there might be a connection between us.
