Bab 489: Royal Sacrifice Formation

A soft, almost sad smile played at Midas' lips as he turned his head and assessed everyone around him. He could see some of the Council Members, with Sam and Makoto having stayed behind to manage the City He could also see the usual suspects Sofia, Gwen and Helga and the rest of the Representatives standing with their heads held high.

Midas wasn't sad, it was just that he wanted to affect their moods before he delivered his last words. And it seemed to work too based on how everyone sobered up from their excitement. Okay, they were ready now.

"I'm glad I can share this moment with all of you," Midas began, his voice carrying over the hushed crowd. 

"What happens next depends solely on you, But if you seize this moment, if you use what's been given to you wisely, we will not only survive, we will win! We will all Win!"
