Bab 395: Rewriting History

"Aye! Helga!! I missed you so much, please give me a hug!" Jax stood up happily as he raised his arms to accept a hug only to hear a brutal "No!" from Helga that made him sad and made the rest chuckle in glee.

It was rare for them to hang out like this as they had been mostly cultivating under Midas' orders. But even if Midas hadn't said anything they would still be cultivating since the stronger they became, the stronger their souls would become and the easier it would be for them to break these soul restraints that had been put on them.

If Midas told them they were fighting a losing battle since he had a Trait that strengthened his Soul and their souls are incomplete to begin with because of the trick of the Sixth Trial, they might just give up on themselves because with Midas' ability to set up Energy Drawing Formations that speed up cultivation, they would never catch up to his cultivation speed.
