What could the common man stuck under the rubble of a fallen building do to help? What would popular opinion do to stop Midas at this point?

Comments on Social Media admonishing him would do nothing but provide entertainment to them, some respite in a chaotic universe. Video reactions at doctored footage would do nothing but fuel narratives, and narratives were useless because they could not and would not stop Midas from continuing his killing spree.

And so they stopped rolling out videos and images of his rampage, partially hoping he would take this as a partial surrender. And yet it seemed he had ramped up his efforts especially after finding some empty bunkers and shelters on his journey around the world.
