Bab 333: Gathering at the Transfer Gate

The sound of a slap rang through the room as Gwen showed the most beautiful face anyone had ever seen, a face that would have melted the heart of any stone-hearted man. 

'You hate me? No, you don't. You just want me to prove how much I need you by being sincere with you.'

Midas never said this though, merely standing there watching her sob with an unreadable expression. Special tactics needed special responses. Midas knew this better than anyone. This was why he merely walked away to the second floor without saying anything, leaving her sobbing right there.

Gwen noticed Midas' departure and immediately became shocked. "Where are you going?!" she said, visibly frustrated. Midas ignored her though as he left going to his room and grabbing his stuff.
