Bab 298: The Exchange

– In another part of the Galaxy Supercluster, in the Void of Space –

In the vastness of the cosmos, a solitary spaceship hung suspended in the void, its sleek, circular hull gleaming under the ethereal glow of distant stars. 

This was that thing that humans had been searching for. For ages they were searching, and yet, they were never close enough to even touch it.

A Spaceship. A vessel of unknown origin, its purpose shrouded in mystery.

The spaceship was perfectly symmetrical, with a smooth, metallic surface that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it, making it almost jet black and partially camouflaged in the darkness.

No wonder humans couldn't see these things. With the tech it took to make one, it was not impossible to make them invisible.

The spaceship had no visible engines or protrusions, giving it an almost otherworldly appearance. Completely round, metallic and beautiful.
