Bab 193: Bone-chilling Sights

In the winding maze of the Third Trial, Midas found himself ensconced within an icy cave system. Looking around, Midas could see an environment so overtaken by the cold, that it was almost as if it had become an embodiment of it.

The biting cold seeped through the very marrow of the walls and floors, transforming it into a tundra of frigid desolation. It was dry and lifeless, and yet its lifelessness was a kind of beauty too.

As Midas surveyed around, ignoring the Clan Members who were slipping and falling on their asses on the ice and snow, he couldn't help but contemplate the potential consequences of this extreme cold on both him and his people.

Midas estimated the temperature to be -150 degrees Celsius at that point. They were lucky they had their new Bodies and Domains because if not, they would be in serious trouble.
