Bab 191: Heat-soaked Abyss

Midas found himself at a crucial juncture. Luckily, he knew what to do. He was going to explore the deeps of the sand and find the Golden Key below him before heading up into the void above to discover what secrets that realm held.

Met with the reality that they could not see anything at all above them, the team found themselves stumped. What were they supposed to do next?

After some quick thinking, Midas gave them an option.

"Why don't you build a stairway?"

After hearing that, Helga, Link, Fakuyna and Gwen all turned to Midas simultaneously, looking at him as if what he said sounded insane.

Midas continued, "You could build it along the wall, going around circularly until it reaches the roof where it either penetrates it or ends in a landing zone of some sort.

You could also build it in something that would melt in this environment. Like the sand. You could use the sand to build a stairway. What do you guys think about it?"
