Bab 159: The Majestic Behemoth

The tunnel echoed with the cautious footsteps of twenty Chosen as they walked along carefully in the light of their flashlights.

As they went along, dodging vines that hung from the ceiling that looked to wrap around them and swallow them and Mushrooms that lay inconspicuously on the floor that waited on them to touch them so they could activate their spores and make them hosts to the new generation of life in the caverns, a collective pulse throbbed in the air.

Nobody had said anything since they entered the Dungeon, probably because they all knew how serious this situation was. The only sounds that could be heard were footsteps and the sound of clothes rubbing against each other as they walked.

Midas had chosen to have twenty people accompany him on this mission because that meant they would not crowd the dungeon and that would lead to less risky situations, especially when evading the death traps and any creatures that they could find.
