Bab 151: Blood-Drenched Desert

Midas stood amidst the gruesome aftermath of his and the Holy Dogs' rampage with a natural expression but in his heart, he was incredibly happy. 

After pulling out the Clan Totem, it had split into two Totems, with both offering him the chance to assimilate them. This was an incredible discovery for Midas because he was genuinely hoping that since the assimilation had not been completed, then he still would have time. 

And luckily, that was exactly how it turned out. 

Link, who stood behind him wanted to ask some questions, but he held himself back. This was the first time he had seen another Clan Totem other than Midas' and yet he had seen two.

Link, with his intelligence, surmised that they must belong to the attackers and the Factionless Clan respectively. Midas had taken them into his body. What could be the reason?
