Bab 141: No, You Kowtow!

The desert air crackled with tension as Midas and his Scouts found themselves in a stare-down with the Super Sonic Clan. The light from the fireplaces flickered teasingly, making everyone's shadows dance expectantly in the darkness. As Midas stood there, he knew this was a critical situation.

Suddenly, as if a signal had been given, members of the Super Sonic Clan closed like shadows, surrounding Midas and his group in an encirclement.

"So Midas… What do you say to our proposal?" said Ulysses, a comfortable and unworried expression on his face. Midas however, even after being surrounded by over 50 people, whose faces were morphing over time becoming progressively greener, slimier and uglier, sported an unconcerned expression.

Midas was quick to discern the unfolding scenario and realised the true nature of this Clan. 

They had become subordinates to Spectators!

They had willingly forsaken their humanity!
