Bab 134: The Surprise

The maid was about to say something to excuse why she was there in that position of not doing anything. But Heller raised his hand, cutting off whatever reason she was trying to give.

"Is the queen in her chambers?" Heller asked with a frown on his face.

The maid nodded rapidly.

Heller walked off. He needed to have a word with the queen about some matters concerning Kane because he needed her help. She was the only one that the prince listened to –no matter how little – but he still listened to his mother. Prince Kane felt she had his interest at heart, so that made him give her a listening ear which he didn't give most people.

Meanwhile, back in the Throne room, Stephan looked at Eliza as if she had just said something with no sense. He couldn't believe his ears as he gaped at her. After a while, he peeled his gaze from Eliza and called Mabeth to return as the maid was almost out of the door.
