As the tense atmosphere lingered, Alan tried to diffuse the situation. "Okay, don't make trouble... It's almost time to pass!" he said, hoping to calm the emotions running high.
After a brief pause, Alan seized the opportunity to make a suggestion. "Take advantage of the cheap, Nami," he said with a smile, his arms reaching out to embrace the still-angry girl.
In an impressive display of agility, Alan activated his ultra-high-speed movement ability. With a powerful leap, they vanished from mid-air, moving at a speed imperceptible to the naked eye, as though they were gliding through the sky. "God walks!" he exclaimed, his efforts in achieving this feat evident.
Nami's eyes widened in disbelief as they traversed an astonishing distance in the blink of an eye. "This... it's too fast!" she exclaimed, looking around in amazement. The sheer speed at which they covered such a vast distance left her stunned.
Their sudden appearance brought them to a Marine Base, over a thousand meters away from their previous location. The base's execution ground was empty, save for a few figures present. Among them were two individuals who seemed disheveled and embarrassed, not Luffy and Kebi, but someone else.
In front of them stood a young girl holding a rice ball, and nearby, a man with short green hair was tied to a cross. The man appeared weakened and injured, with a resolute expression on his face. He was rejecting Luffy's proposal to join him as a pirate, stating that he would rather honor an agreement with someone from the Marines.
Despite the "Pirate Hunter's" refusal, Luffy remained unfazed and determined to have him as a partner. Meanwhile, Alan and Nami watched the scene unfold from a distance, both intrigued by the interaction.
Seeing the opportunity to introduce themselves, Luffy called out to Alan and Nami, signaling their presence. He excitedly presented Roronoa Zoro, the "Pirate Hunter," as their new partner. Coby, feeling slightly embarrassed, also greeted Alan and Nami.
Zoro, however, was not amused. Tied to the rack, he vociferously rejected Luffy's decision to recruit him, emphasizing that he had no intention of becoming a pirate. His attention was soon drawn to Alan on the distant wall, and he seemed to recognize him.
Responding to Zoro's confusion, Alan used his incredible speed to bring Nami before the group, introducing himself as Balder Alan, the deputy captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. Nami, on her turn, presented herself as the navigator of the crew.
The mention of Alan's name triggered a reaction from a little girl named Rija, who was with Kirby. She trembled with fear, remembering rumors of Alan being a notorious murderer with a bounty of 22 million baileys.
Eager to dispel the girl's fears, Nami stepped forward and reassured her, explaining that Alan wasn't a murderer and wouldn't harm anyone. Her warm smile and comforting words gradually eased the little girl's anxiety.
